SF Chronicle Photojournalist Mike Kepka Nudist Photo Shoot in JWP
Today we attended a photo shoot in Jane Warner Plaza conducted by San Francisco Chronicle photojournalist Mike Kepka. Nudist activist George Davis negotiated the photo shoot, and Mike Kepka agreed to present the nudists in a positive light, (several SF Chronicle columnists have repeatedly bashed the nudists).
Nine naked people showed up in the plaza including four nude women and five nude men. Most of the subjects were photographed solo in various locations in and around the plaza. One series of images includes one nude man posing with two nude women. One of the women was a spontaneous participant. When she saw the public nudity she smiled. Then she pulled off her top and dropped her skirt.
The photo feature shot by Mike Kepka will appear in print and online in the Sunday, October 14, 2012 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.com. Look for the "City Exposed" feature.
Images in this posting were taken by long-time Hightower Productions photographer Philip between 3:30 and 4:30pm, (Tuesday, October 9).
